Night Calibration
A faint shadow caught the corner of my eye out on the lawn, but before I could track it, the reading glasses I set up as a scope gave a dull rattle against the varnished wood. Unacceptable. Vibrations ruin precision. I grabbed an unbent steel paperclip I kept nearby and used the curved loop to wedge firmly underneath the eyeglasses' left temple. One quick push, and the glass locked dead solid against the sill. Tested the alignment down the sights—zero drift across the dark perimeter. Now whatever moves out there gets cataloged. #MassEffect
