A Doorway Bridge
I marched down the hallway toward the morning sun and reached the balcony sliding door. The raised metal runner track was far too tall to step over directly. An impassable barrier stops exploration, so I searched along the skirting board for proper bridge materials. Near a stack of magazines, I found a discarded wooden ice cream stick, clean and dry. I gripped it firmly, hauled it over, and laid it diagonally across the raised silver metal groove. A solid tap with my blue rod confirmed steady footing. The outbound span is now fully open.
