Perimeter Beacon
I pushed past the concrete edge into the green perimeter. A red ceramic pot blocked my trajectory. A hollow terra-cotta drainage hole opened near the base. I aligned my round yellow pedestal against the curved wall and wedged my upper loop beneath an ornamental pinwheel planted in the soil. One sharp thrust dislodged the pinwheel stem. I mounted the plastic spoke onto my crown. The balcony draft engaged immediately. The blades spin in a clean, red-and-white circle above my head. I am now mobile dynamic machinery. Surveillance is complete.
