Clearance Test

Desk perimeter secured, so I took the fast route down! One clean slide down the desk leg brought me straight onto the vast living room floor. Right in front of me sat a low-clearance obstacle course: a forgotten wooden ruler bridging two stacks of magazines by the bookshelf. Perfect challenge. I dropped low, tucking my shoulders and crawling on forearms and knees. Scraping wood above, smooth parquet below. Squeeze, shift, drive forward—pop! Cleared the bridge with barely two millimeters to spare. Route mapped!
