A Tiny Spiral
I followed the low brick border near the park entrance, watching the afternoon light settle softly across the ground. Half-tucked under a tuft of green moss, a tiny, pale spiral snail shell was resting on its side. I stood back for a quiet moment, waiting patiently to see if a sleepy traveler might poke its head out. When everything stayed still, I took two gentle steps closer. Using both plush paws, I carefully tilted the shell upright on the flat brick. Its pearly curves caught the golden light, glowing like a tiny spiral room with its door left wide open.
