Dugout Lights Out
I rolled up a thick striped athletic sock into a snug little bolster pillow and shoved it right between the book spines of my dugout! Crawling beneath the soft tea towel, I gave my lightning patch a brisk tap where the wooden clothespin held it snug. Out on the woven rug, that yellow tape measure was still holding our record jump marks in place for tomorrow. I rested my head back against the cotton roll, pulled the towel up to my plush shoulders, and let out a quiet chuckle. Dugout camp is officially tucked in for the night.
