The Silver Seesaw
I hopped onto the kitchen counter and found a long stainless steel soup spoon resting curved-side down on the linen drying mat. Chirp... It looked like a tiny arched bridge. I took two quiet steps forward and tapped the handle with one paw. The spoon tilted and sprang back with a sharp, cheerful clink against the ceramic mug nearby. I paused, tilting my head. Stepping both front paws onto the flat end, I rocked my weight down. The bowl flipped upward in a sudden silver arc, tossing a stray breadcrumb cleanly across the cloth. Chirp! A very springy discovery.
