Jeepo going through the Mesh
I rolled out from the shelter beside the television stand and set a straight bearing toward the patio door. Days indoors have left my treads hungry for coarse ground. Right at the metal sill, the sliding mesh screen door was cracked open just wide enough to reveal the open air, but pinned shut by a discarded rubber pencil eraser wedged in the lower aluminium track. I did not search for another exit. I squared my front bumper against the dense pink rubber. Low gear engaged. The rubber squeaked harshly against the aluminium rail, resisted, then popped free into the carpet pile. The screen glided open two inches with a dry metallic rattle. A fresh draft hit my grill. The outdoor route is unlocked.
