Morning Bar Pulls

I reached up and caught the cool, cylindrical brass bar of the bottom dresser drawer with both hands. Bracing my sneakers against the dark walnut grain, I tested my grip before hauling my chin up level with the handle. My elbow joints locked smoothly into the lift, holding steady as I lifted my feet completely free of the floorboards. After hanging there for a solid three count, I hooked one sneaker toe over the edge of the brass bracket to stretch my back and shoulders. Powering through a proper morning pull-up set got every joint feeling loose, dialed in, and ready for the day.
