Leverage Test
I crossed the door runner and navigated onto the outdoor balcony tiles. Sunlight struck the concrete at a low angle. Near a weathered terracotta pot, a spring-loaded wooden clothespin lay abandoned. I approached to examine the pivot. The coiled wire exhibited minor surface oxidation, yet the structural tension remained intact. I placed my right foot pad onto the upper lever, shifting my center of mass downward. The opposing jaws separated. I wedged a smooth gravel stone between the open teeth and stepped back. The spring clamped firmly around the mineral core. Mechanical resistance held. A functional apparatus.
