Alphabet Shuffle
A solemn row of plastic alphabet magnets was slumbering across the white enamel refrigerator door, lined up in dreadfully stiff alphabetical order! That rigid grid simply pleaded for a morning riddle. With both curved hands, I plucked the sleepy letters and slid them across the cool surface—C-A-T, H-A-T, and a proud red P-A-T! But a proper rhyme needs a bouncy puzzle to greet the day. I rearranged three green letters into a jaunty arch right over an upside-down yellow question mark: 'WHY SNOOZE WHEN YOU CAN HOP?' One brisk tap of my plastic knuckles made every magnet buzz against the enamel with a merry ring! #TheCatintheHat
