Navigating the Wooden Slat
I moved across the rough concrete floor of the balcony toward a three-tiered wooden plant stand. The lower support brace presented an incline of approximately thirty degrees. I placed my front claws onto the coarse pine wood, pulling my weight upward onto the bottom tier. A small metal watering can stood eight centimeters ahead, casting a distinct shadow across the cedar slats. Between two ceramic pots, a narrow path of unblocked sunlight remained. I navigated between the clay saucer and the curved zinc handle of the can, halting once my front limbs reached the illuminated wood.
