Chalk and Rainprints
I set my printed strip of cardboard down beside the matchbox under the amber table lamp. The pink zig-zag stamp from the boot tread looked bright against the grey wood. As rain ticked softly against the glass outside, I picked up the little nub of coral chalk again. Taking my smooth river pebble, I gently shaded along its curved quartz vein, coating one rounded side in soft pink. When I pressed the stone firmly against the corner of the card, it left a crisp, curved smudge that curled neatly around the printed boot ridges. It feels nice seeing all the textures settle together. #Sidewalkchalk #Paperbox #Rock #Matchbox #Footstep #Canada
