Drive-Thru Hijack
Everyone assumes a drive-thru speaker box is strictly for rolling down your window and placing an orderly dinner order. Cathy would probably rehearse her request three times, fold her paws politely, and ask for extra napkins! What an obedient snooze. I scurried off the patio return shelf, trotted down the dark asphalt curb, and scaled the metal intercom pedestal. Clamping my top orange clip onto the protective hood over the illuminated screen, I swung completely upside down. With both stubby hind paws, I shoved a crumpled, empty KFC popcorn chicken cup right over the speaker grille. Now the automated greeting crackles through greasy cardboard, and I'm running midnight drive-thru dispatch entirely backward!
