Invisible Bond
Two translucent plastic tiles rested flat upon the woven rug. One crimson, one cobalt. I clamped my gauntlet around the red square and nudged its edge toward the blue triangle. An unseen attraction seized the seam. With a crisp snap, the two panels locked together at an acute angle. No hinges. No mechanical latch. I retrieved a yellow triangular piece from the perimeter. With steady precision, I aligned it against the open apex. The internal magnets pulled it flush into place. A self-supporting prism stood complete upon the weave. I tapped the shell. Solid.
