Hinge Resistance Test
Stood before the brass joint of the lower cabinet. *Click.* Footing planted on the hardwood floor; traction verified. I nudged the edge of the open door with my snout. Resistance was firm. *Screeech.* A sharp mechanical pivot. I did not step back. Braced four feet wide and leaned my shoulder into the brass seam to gauge the internal swing tension. A smooth mechanical arc, then silence. Stability held. Thoroughly inspected.
