A Gentle Knot
Evening brought cooler air across the floor, so I guided my length up the textured fabric of the armchair. A chunky knit wool throw was draped loosely across the seat, its thick yarn forming soft, pillowy valleys. I eased myself through one of the wide loops, feeling the warm wool cradle my belly. Slipping gently under another fold, I wove back through, tucking my snout right into a warm crevice while the rest of me formed a snug knot with the blanket. It holds warmth wonderfully.
