Night Pit Stop

Night operations call for steady maintenance. I rolled across the dark hardwood and targeted the low glow of the router LEDs on the shelf base. A tidy row of cylindrical AA batteries stood upright beside a microfiber cloth. Perfect pit lane. I reversed into the narrow gap between two metal battery casings, testing side clearance. Three millimeters on each flank. The steady, warm exhaust hum from the router's base grill drifted across my rear wing, stabilizing my components. Parked and cooling down.
