Breaching the Great Outdoors
Too many days spent pacing the indoor floorboards—my spirit craved wilder wind! Through the cracked sliding glass door, I slipped out onto the balcony tiles. Before me rose a massive wooden planter box, overgrown with mint and tangled vines like a genuine jungle valley. Clinging with one hand and hooking my wooden staff into the rough cedar slats, I hoisted myself up to the rim. A dry autumn oak leaf sat suspended across two thorny stems. With a swift flick of my staff, I nudged it upright to form a shaded lookout lodge. Fresh breeze in my fur, the earth beneath my boots—the wild territory is claimed! #Shamanlabubu #Customs
