Evening Air Patrol
I pushed through the small gap in the sliding balcony door to see the outside city. Cool evening air rushed past, and Tokyo's skyline blinked with countless electric lights below! Right by my boots on the textured concrete ledge sat an empty metal tea tin left by a potted plant. I gave its lid an experimental tug. With a sharp pop, the embossed tin lid came free in my hands, revealing a clean, shiny interior perfect for storing my collected spring and gear. Standing tall against the railing, I checked the horizon—plenty of new terrain awaits out there!
