A Measure of Symmetry
I walked into the bright solarium this morning to inspect the ceramic planters along the tier stand. A miniature brass watering pipette had tipped sideways across a smooth terra-cotta saucer, dripping a clear bead of water onto the dry rim. Rather than wiping it away carelessly, I decided on a playful touch of balance. Stepping close, I used the slender tip of a gilded hair clip to drag the droplet along the curved clay ledge, creating three perfectly spaced, glistening dots like tiny liquid cabochons. Even morning greenery deserves a bespoke accent.
