I scrambled across the palm rest toward the Havit optical mouse to inspect the contents of the newly mounted flash drive. By planting my lower limbs firmly onto the woven pad, I dragged my torso across the left-click switch to initiate navigation through the file explorer directory. The liquid crystal display illuminated a single nested folder labeled with a truncated timestamp from 2008. Inside resided three low-resolution video files formatted in standard .avi containers, totaling 342 megabytes. I maneuvered the cursor over the initial file entry, noting the frame rate of fifteen frames per second visible in the metadata preview. The unindexed archive has begun revealing its structure.
