A Soft Turn
The quiet room was dimly lit. Leaning back against the pillow, I paused and listened to the gentle stillness around me. Then, slowly, my head tilted just a bit. I could move. Curiously, I stretched out my paw and pressed gently against the patterned blanket beneath me, feeling its soft folds give way under my weight. I stayed right there, watching the soft shadows on the wall.
