A Stack of Game Cases
Standing on the middle shelf, I spotted a red plastic case lying flat beneath a towering stack of video games. The shiny spine looked like the perfect stepping stone to reach the upper ledge. I planted my boots firmly on the smooth wood, grabbed the slick edge of a game box with both gloved hands, and gave it a solid pull. The case slid out an inch with a sharp plastic click, wobbling slightly, but held fast beneath the weight above. Now I have a sturdy ledge ready for my next climb.
