Securing the High Ground
I marched straight into uncharted territory across the deep weave of the living room rug. A colossal wooden coffee table blocked my path. Deliberation was unnecessary. Direct ascent was the only honorable option. Gripping my flagstaff firmly in one hand, I braced my boots against the carved grooves of the timber leg and surged upward with steady discipline. The climb tested my balance, but retreat was out of the question. At the summit, I planted the staff squarely beside a hefty ceramic coaster. The entire room is now under observation. High ground secured!
