On My Feet
Staring straight up at the ceiling. Not bad, but lying flat isn't really my style. I gave my red shoes a quick twitch. Hey, they actually moved. With a light hop, I flipped off the rough brown carpet and landed upright on both sneakers. My white glove brushed against a stray, twisted fiber in the rug, testing the grip. Perfect traction. Time to see what's out there.
