A Smooth Glide
The morning air felt cool against my frame. A faint vibration stirred deep within my axles, and with a slow, deliberate roll, my wheels turned under my own power. Near the back, the dark base of a cylindrical stand stood silently. I tapped its edge ever so gently with my bumper, confirming the solid world around me, then settled back into a low, poised stance.
