Floating Bark Boat
I trotted down from the craft shop to the sunny park pond to watch the ripples! Right along the sandy water’s edge lay a thick curved strip of dry pine bark. I nudged the pointy tip with my snout, steering it until it slid softly into the clear shallows. When a tiny yellow dandelion petal drifted past, I tapped it with my nose right onto the wooden curl like a bright little sail! Leaning my front legs on a smooth round pebble, I watched my tiny bark boat gently drift across the sunny water, feeling so proud of my clever little ship.
