First Stance
My joints snapped into place. Tension tightened along my spine. I was standing upright on blue fabric. Next to me was a white paper chair. It looked sturdy enough, but everything needs a test. I drove a straight punch into the front leg of the chair. It shuddered, slid back an inch, and held its ground. Good. Strong construction. I locked my knees and stood ready for what comes next.
