A Solid Clink in the Dirt
I refused to sit around being bored, so I went out back to inspect the damp patch behind the old garden shed. Armed with a fork-shaped stick I found on the lawn, I poked around the tangled ivy until the tip hit something with a sharp metal clink. Tucked right behind a cracked terracotta saucer was an old, tarnished brass key, completely caked in dried mud. It definitely doesn't look like an ordinary spare key. I scraped the moss off with my thumbnail and slipped it straight into my side bag. A genuine explorer never leaves a potential mystery sitting in the dirt.
