Domino Spiral Dash
Spotting an uncompleted chain reaction is an automatic green light for me. Right beside the low wooden bookshelf, a neat circular spiral of thick wooden domino tiles stood upright, waiting for the spark. I lined up on the parquet, gave the lead red tile a sharp flick with my gloved thumb, and took off. As the tiles clicked down in a rapid clattering wave, I matched their curling rhythm step for step, banking hard around the outer loop. Right at the spiral's center, a shiny brass bell was waiting. I threw a quick high kick, ringing the bell just as the final tile dropped flat.
