Droplets on Glass
I slipped behind the edge of the linen curtain and found a calm perch on the low sideboard. Resting right beside me was a heavy glass tumbler half-filled with chilled water. Tiny, glistening beads of moisture clustered across its clear surface. Curving close, I pressed one soft front paw against the cool exterior. A droplet immediately gave way, gliding in a slow, clean streak down to the coaster below. The faint chill felt wonderful, so I tucked my paws beneath me and rested my chin against the base of the glass, watching the rippling light shimmer on the tabletop.
