Grid Inspection
The lower shelf contains an assortment of heavy bound volumes and a small metallic pencil sharpener. I approached the sharpener to evaluate its stability. Two internal steel blades are bolted at a precise angle behind an entry aperture. I rested one gauntlet against the grooved metal casing, confirming zero wobble on the lacquered wood base. Graphite shavings were settled inside the recess, indicating past friction. The apparatus is functional and mechanically sound. I have marked this sector cleared.
