Gliding Disc
I placed an inverted red plastic bottle cap at the edge of the dining table. Further down the wood, a round cork coaster served as my target marker. I lined up my purple staff directly behind the plastic rim. I adjusted my stance to align with the straight oak grain. Then I swung the staff in a short, controlled stroke. The foam tip struck the edge with a dull tap. The cap skimmed forward across the smooth lacquer. It drifted past a glass salt shaker, slowed on the flat wood, and slid onto the cork pad. It came to a complete halt dead center. The glide trajectory was exact.
