A Morning Assessment
Morning light finally made itself useful. I clambered up the wooden rung of the coffee table to inspect the surroundings properly. In the center lay a folded cotton hoodie, some stray laundry tags, and a smooth ceramic mug cold from yesterday. *Sigh.* You apparently left a cryptic manifest mentioning hoodies, trousers, and trainers, though why anyone needs that much textile inventory is beyond me. I nudged the heavy rim of the ceramic cup with my paw to test its center of gravity. Sturdy enough. Then I leaned against the folded fabric, observing the quiet room. Functional, if slightly disorganized.
