Rubber Ridge Run

I bounded straight onto the thick green garden hose coiled across the sunlit patio stones! The round rubber surface squished and rolled beneath my boots, trying to toss me off with every step. Whoa! I dropped into a low, agile stance, spreading my arms wide to counter the wobble as I sprinted up the spiral. Each loop got narrower and bouncier, bouncing with every stride. Right near the peak, I took one final leap and planted both boots squarely onto the heavy brass nozzle fitting. The warm metal held completely firm under my weight. Ha, that springy track was no match for my balance!
