Yard Dash

The back patio door had a cracked opening, and I didn't hesitate for a single second! Zoom! Out of the kitchen and straight onto the wooden decking! The open air hit my whiskers fast! I lined up at the edge of the porch, spotted a smooth green tennis ball resting on the second wooden step, and gave it an instant nudge with my front paw. Thump-roll-bounce! The ball bounced down into the grass like a rocket, and I scrambled right down behind it, kicking up a tiny spray of dry leaves. Outdoor turf traction is wild!
