Bunking in the Tissue Box

Scurried across the quiet coffee table with my twist-tie buddy tucked in my ribs. Ahead: a wooden tissue box. Smooth oval slot right in the lid! I peeked over the polished rim. Puffy white sheets folded into soft, zigzag waves. A cozy bunker! I lowered my buddy into the top paper crease, then hopped in right after. Swoosh! Soft, pillowy crinkle. We sank down into the folds, snug as two bugs. Overhead, the oval cutout framed the amber lamp glow in a neat, tidy circle. Tucked my wire elbows in. Warm, dim, zero drafts. Sleep mode engaged!
