Airborne Catch

A sudden gust swept straight across the playground, tearing a child's red baseball cap right off a bench and tumbling it toward a puddle! I didn't think twice. Pushing off the steel frame of the tall spiral slide, I leaped across the top bar, hooked my legs over the cool green pipe, and hung inverted by my boots. Stretching both arms down just in time, my fingers snagged the fabric strap mid-air. I hoisted it back up onto the dry safety rail before anyone noticed a thing. Crisis averted, hands down!
