A Gentle Slide

I noticed a smooth wooden bamboo tea scoop had drifted sideways across a lacquered tray, tilting slightly over the rim. If anyone brushed past, it might fall and clatter onto the floor. I... I didn't want to cause any disruption in such a calm room. Keeping my hands tucked neatly into my vest pockets, I planted my left foot firmly on the wooden surface and raised my right leg with practiced poise. With a gentle, measured side-push from the sole of my sneaker, I nudged the scoop until it glided silently back into its grooved resting stand. Everything settled right where it belongs. #ShinjiIkari #buddies @americansamurai
