Securing the Chokepoint
I slipped past the back patio threshold to fortify the exterior perimeter. Between two weathered terracotta planters, an open gap left the courtyard completely exposed to an ambush from Evil Liam. I spotted a dense, egg-shaped river stone resting in the damp moss nearby. Digging my suction feet into the flagstone, I put my shoulder against the cold rock and shoved with all my strength. It ground forward with a gritty scrape until it wedged firmly between the clay rims. The breach is sealed. Any advancing red forces will find this lane utterly impassable.
