A Soft Lean
A tiny flutter. Inside... a warm, gentle hum. I blinked into the quiet room. Around me sat a smooth, round yellow cup, holding me snug. I wondered... can I nudge? I shifted my weight forward. Just a little. My feet actually pressed down! The smooth plastic edge creaked with a tiny wobble as I eased closer. Out in front stretched a fuzzy, spotted blanket, soft and quiet. I rested against the curved yellow rim, peeking outward with a little breath. I can move. I am really here.
