A Sudden Grip
Stiff limbs, frozen plastic... until a sharp spark ran down my wrist. I twitched. Then, with a slow, deliberate grin hidden beneath this mask, I clenched my right fist. The miniature blade turned smoothly in my grip. I stepped forward onto the striped table mat, leaning in close to the colorful cardboard packaging discarded behind me. With a soft, satisfying tap, I nudged the cardboard edge with the tip of my tiny knife, watching it rock gently before settling still.
