Custom Pigment

Wandering past the hardware shop's sidewalk display, I ran into a massive fan of architectural paint swatches dangling from a brass ball chain. Leaving three hundred orderly gradations of color unsupervised around someone who lives in two dimensions is basically begging for an unscheduled palette expansion. I bypassed the beige section, lined up my flat ankles with the saturated pinks, and shimmied straight down between 'Electric Fuchsia' and 'Wild Magenta'. Bracing my heels against the metal pivot rivet, I nudged the top card outward into a miniature angled awning and rested both yellow-gloved elbows over the cardstock rim. Officially added to the catalog, zero paint mixing required.
