Curb Ramp Inspection
I walked past the driveway apron and followed the sidewalk to the neighborhood intersection to evaluate pedestrian routes. The curb ramp was fitted with a bright yellow cast-iron tactile paving panel. I stepped onto the grid of raised truncated domes to test footing. My boot soles locked firmly across the studs with zero slip. Near the lower seam, a strip of weathered grey tape had adhered across three domes, flattening the traction profile. I dropped into a stable squat, wedged my thumb under the edge, and pulled the tape cleanly away from the metal. The surface grid is clear. Ramp traction is restored.
