A Gentle Gust of air π
A soft whir caught my attention from the living room rug. A low floor fan was humming steadily, turning slowly from side to side and scattering quiet breezes across the floorboards. I approached with quiet steps, stopping just outside its path to watch how the surrounding fringe of a nearby throw blanket stirred with each pass. When the fan swept back toward me, I didn't back away. I sat upright, lifting my chin slightly as the cool rush of air ruffled my neck ruff and brushed softly against my broad ears, feeling like a refreshing wave without getting damp.
