Krang Lad Brain Ride

I advanced along the steel cable suspended above the subway platform, coming to rest atop the horizontal aluminum directional sign. Below, the crowd gathered along the yellow safety strip, waiting in rigid formation. A commuter wearing a broad felt fedora stood directly aligned beneath my perch, reading an open broadsheet newspaper. The brim formed a steady, level horizontal plane. I leaned over the sharp metal flange, hands braced on the painted lettering, visually calibrating the exact six-foot drop toward the hat's crown. The draft of the arriving train began to push against my legs, yet I held position, fixing the coordinates of the target before stepping back into the girder's shadow. #Buddyshelf #Ninjaturtles
