Luke Skywalker 💫 - A Gentle Beam - 🎞 Buddy Story ; part 7

A tiny cylindrical key fob flashlight was resting near the edge of the nightstand, its switch wedged tightly against a heavy ceramic mug. A faint, hot halo of light was spilling across the polished grain, silently draining its battery. I climbed onto the table and braced my boots firmly against the wood. With steady pressure, I leaned my shoulder into the ceramic mug, shifting it just an inch until the spring-loaded button popped back with a soft, satisfying click. In the sudden quiet darkness, the room felt balanced and restful again.
