Woven Bookmark
I walked into a quiet neighborhood library and took a seat beside a low wooden table. Tucked between the pages of an open hardbound book was a bookmark woven from thick, colorful embroidery floss. I ran my curved hand along the braided chevron pattern, feeling how tightly the threads locked together. It kept sliding down the slick paper, so I gently wedged a polished brass paperclip at the corner to anchor it securely in place.
