A Sticky Blue Hug

I took a giant trot past the bookshelf, and—scritch! My right front paw stuck straight to the floorboards! Did the floor want to hold hands? I tugged—tug, tug—and up came my foot, but wearing a bright blue paper loop! It was sticky tape! I gave a fast, floppy shake—flutter, flutter! The blue strip waved in the air like a tiny kite stuck to my toes! I did a breathless hop, spun around on three legs, and pressed my paw against the baseboard corner. Scrape! It peeled right off and stuck flat across the wood! Now the wall has its very own blue badge!
